Position: Business Intelligence Agent

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Intelligence Agents (BIAs) provide business acumen to RGA clients. Administrative, finance, and accounting work encompasses the workload that can be expected. The BIA efficiently and effectively manages business needs for RGA clients, successfully investigates and resolves all business-related concerns, ensures company-wide finances are according to company and regulator standards. The Business Intelligent Agent position is expected to have a positive cultural impact and is viewed as a trusted and valuable resource by RGA’s clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately record transactions in QuickBooks in accordance with GAAP standards
• Resolve issues in reconciliation including beginning balances being off, missing transactions, or errant transactions.
• Maintain accurate data entry into clients’ software(s) as needed.
• Close assigned portions of client’s books accurately by following a closing checklist.
• Demonstrates superb customer service and knowledge when communicating with clients
• Develops and documents all business processes for improved workflow.
• Full scope of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Have direct client communication as needed
• Maintain own scheduling at client sites with guidance from management
• Communicate regularly with direct supervisor and Hub leader to discuss issues or challenges
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Skillfully communicates content of the books with clients and other team members.
• Has the ability to create budgets, forecasts, and manage cash.
• Can own the general ledger and has knowledge of Balance Sheet accounts.
• Can audit monthly accounting work and answer questions about issues.
• Capable of presenting financial packages to clients.
• Demonstrates aptitude at training other team members.
• Illustrates ability to own the entire client relationship and experience.
• Ability to contribute knowledge and skill in an audit or transaction.
• Completes the month end close process.
• Distributes timely deliverables to clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED
• Degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
• Experience working as business intelligence or a similar role
• Multi-client experience a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, ability to use your own vehicle, proof of insurance

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in English language required
